Redesign Consultation

The redesign will begin with an initial one hour consultation. This will give us the opportunity to discuss the wants and needs of your room, what works and doesn’t work and what the room’s function and purpose is. It will also give me the chance to see the room, take the necessary measurements and photos and give you a few decorating ideas and tips that you can use throughout your home regardless if you choose to hire me to complete the redesign. I will also determine that day if an assistant will be needed.

On the morning of the redesign, I will arrive at the scheduled time and begin immediately clearing your room. I do ask however, for you to leave during the redesign process. Many of my clients go to work, go shopping or meet friends. (If you do not feel comfortable leaving your home at this time I would ask that you stay in another area of your home while the redesign process is taking place). This will allow me to completely focus on your room without interruption, and get done in a reasonable amount of time. Approximate time on a redesign is 3-5 hours.

While you are away, I will clear the room, establish the focal point/points, and use a step-by-step process to bring your furniture and accessories back into the room, artfully rearranging them to achieve function, purpose and style. With your permission, I will “shop” your home for hidden treasures that may enhance the room.

When you return home for the “reveal,” you will be amazed at the transformation! After you have had a chance to view your new room, I will provide you with a future shopping list if your room is in need of any final touches to make it complete. It may need one more picture, a large plant for the corner, an area rug, throw pillows or an additional lamp. – Whatever it is I will advice you so you can shop wisely. If you don’t feel comfortable shopping for accessories you may want to hire me to do the shopping for you. I love to shop on a budget, finding great products at great prices. A single lamp may be all that you need.

Full One-Day Redesign $250
Two rooms, same day $400
Combination rooms $350 (i.e. family room and dining room)
Schedule another redesign on this day to be done on a future date and receive a discount of$25.

If you don’t know where to begin, you just don’t have the time, or you don’t find shopping enjoyable, let me do it for you. I can choose just the right furnishings and/or accessories to give your home a designer look.
 
Shopping Service…$35 per hour

Real Estate Staging Assessment

I will start the assessment with a complete evaluation on your home inside and out. This will take at least an hour. I will then return to my office with all the data compiled from my assessment and grade your home, using a national standardized scoring system. Within 24 hours, I will return with my score and a checklist of all the necessary updates and cosmetic repairs that will make your house, “Sell Ready”. We, of course will work within your budget, and pointing out what will be the most important and where you will get the “biggest bang” for your buck. So how much staging you do is up to you. Whether it’s a fresh coat of paint, replacing old, outdated lighting fixtures, pruning the shrubs or simply de-cluttering and de-personalizing your space, the goal here is to provide you with the knowledge you need to get your house ready for the competitive real estate market and to make your house stand out above the rest, turning those lookers into
buyers.

Assessment Fee... $150

On-Hands Staging Service

 
real estate stagingIf you choose to continue using our service for the Hands-On Staging, we will return to your home after the necessary changes have taken place from the checklist I provided during the Assessment, (doing only what your budget will allow). We will complete the staging process by rearranging your furnishings and accessories to maximize your space, create great traffic flow (which is critical in selling your home), and make your home shine above the rest giving it “Show Room” quality.

This service is for anyone moving to a new location.

Are you a military family moving into a new place once again?  Are you tired of trying to make the old furniture work in a space that just doesn’t seem to work?  I can help you get that perfect look; one that you didn’t even know was there.  I will help you get your home set up quickly so you won’t have to live out of boxes for several months due to a lack of time, energy or motivation, or because you are just confused on how to set everything up. 

Are you moving into a smaller home and need to downsize but you are not sure what pieces you should keep and what will work best in your new but smaller space?  I can help create the function, style and comfort you desire using what you have and helping you make the hard but necessary choices on what items to keep and what items you are willing to let go.
